This is an extension of the Team Lead role, and I oversee FP&A of Monstarlab Europe, MENA and US regions and External clients of MLES’ financial shared services portfolio. 

• Financial Planning & Analysis - Budgeting, Forecasting, Cost Management, P&L and Balance Sheet Management, Financial Monitoring, Financial Dashboards Management

• Financial Modeling - Creating complex financial models that provide essential strategic financial insights and support extensive revenue and cost monitoring.

• Management Accounting, KPI Management, Strategic Planning - acting as analysis and advisory wing for CXOs to oversee function performance and make key strategic decisions. 

• Financial Business Partnership - Working with key functions across the organizations comprised of diverse, multi-cultural, multi-regional talents to support cost management, process development, performance analysis & insight support.

• Establish bird’s eye view on financial information flow and structuring for essential & relevant data. 

• M&A & External Due Diligence Support - provide financial data analysis & due diligence support for key M&A moves happening in Monstarlab’s International Markets region.

• As part of Monstarlab Holdings’ Tokyo Stock Exchange IPO due diligence finance team, I helped lead and curate the financial data that was utilized for pre-IPO, IPO submission & post-IPO monitoring & decision making by the Board of Directors.

My focus in commercial banking was in export oriented Ready Made Garments, Textiles and Spinning sector. But I also held short stints in Manufacturing looking after accounts in Pharmaceuticals, Electronics and Construction.

Here are some major work I did with HSBC Commercial Banking.

• Managed a customer loan portfolio of c. USD130MN, working with some of the top performing names in the RMG & Textiles sector. 

• Developing HSBC as a core financial partner of the customer. This involves ring-fencing for banking propositions, financial services, and fund management. 

• Driving revenue and business growth with sustainability in mind. Acting as financial advisor of the customer to add value to the business and help them thrive. 

• Key contact for all major banking concerns which may involve daily transactions, crisis management, problem-solving, strategic planning, fund management, etc. 

• Developing business proposals, credit proposals, pitch presentations and financial models within tight deadlines. 

• Conducting thorough due diligence and documentation review to ensure bank’s interests are protected. This also involves building strong corporate governance practices amongst customers.

I co-managed the largest Ready Made Garments account portfolio of City Corporate during my time there. The portfolio was a mixture of healthy to struggling giants - a mix that built my character as a mature corporate banker.

• Co-managed front face of the bank for a corporate loan portfolio of c. USD95MN, specializing in RMG & Textiles industry large corporates with annual turnover range of USD181MN to USD27MN.

• Financial transaction management - Average daily fund movement and transactional volume of USD1MN.

• Developed pitch presentations, business proposals, and financial models for facilitating financial arrangements.

• First-hand analysis of business proposals to manage and mitigate lending risks for the bank.

• Monitoring portfolio performance for maximizing growth and minimizing loan defaults and managing financial covenants to ensure maximum facility utility.

• Harmonized communications between internal and external stakeholders to create outstanding service excellence.

• Go-to person for internal stakeholders of the bank for transactional banking, loan documentation, financial covenant management, trade support solutions and information pertaining credit reviews.

• Scoping large corporates for wallet-sizing and cross-selling opportunities for the bank.

My career started with CBCRL, an investment bank that was in its nascent stage issuing commercial papers for large corporates to suffice short term financing. I looked after a few of their structured finance clientele.

• Managed a portfolio of c. USD9MN, overseeing financial arrangements for emerging corporate clients.

• Worked in arranging funds for Commercial Papers of major corporate houses.

• Worked in Issue Management teams to facilitate capital raising for parent company.
